Google Business Profile address problems: virtual offices, home, and service area
Google asks that the profile address be the place where you serve customers, with permanent signage. A virtual office, a mailbox, or a PO box does not count as a location. If you work from home or you go to the customer and nobody visits you there, do not publish that address: use the service area. Showing the house as if it were a shop is a suspension reason. Fix it before the appeal. Google decides whether to restore it.
Where an address belongs
Address management is at https://support.google.com/business/answer/2853879?hl=en and service areas at https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038163?hl=en. The representation guidelines, https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en, tie the address to the real place of service.
A storefront publishes the address if customers come in during business hours and there is a permanent sign with the name. A hybrid business also has that location, and it goes to the customer as well.
If nobody visits the place, the address is not shown. You set the service area. One metropolitan area gets one profile, not one per neighborhood.
Virtual office and home
An office you only rent to receive mail, where the business does not operate, cannot hold the profile. A PO box or a remote mailbox cannot either. Rescate does not prepare a file that presents that address as a shop.
Working from home is valid as a service-area business. The video guide says that if you operate from home you can show neighborhood landmarks, not empty land, and that you do not publish the address if customers do not visit. Do not film the house as a counter with a sign if that sign does not exist.
If you want to keep the house as a storefront and there is no sign and no visits, there is no script that meets the rule. The way through is to switch the profile to a service area, not to invent a sign for the video.
Before you appeal
Leave the address, or the service area, as the business really works. The appeal documents have to show that same location. https://support.google.com/business/answer/4569145?hl=en
Do not edit the address again while the appeal is under review. And do not open a second profile in the next neighborhood to get around the problem.

Frequently asked questions
Does a virtual office with a meeting room count?
No, if the business does not regularly serve customers there and the space is only a mailing address. The guidelines do not treat it as a location.
Can I show my house if I take appointments there?
Only if you really serve customers at that address and you can show the permanent sign the storefront video requires. If the appointments are at the customer’s home, hide the address.
Does Rescate take a virtual-office profile?
No. We do not help present it as a storefront.
